Students grading to Red - Yellow - Orange - Green require 1 grading workshop between grades
Students grading to Blue - Purple require 2 hours grading workshop and 2 Sunday sparring sessions between grades
Students grading to Brown - Brown/White - Brown/Black - Black require 4 hours grading workshop and 4 Sunday sparring sessions between grades
Note that all students must have an up to date Licence in order to grade and all workshops and sparring sessions must be entered in their Licence books and signed by an Instructor.
Students grading to 2nd Dan must be training 2-3 times min each week including regular Friday evening advanced sessions and complete at least 6 grading workshops and 6 Sunday sparring sessions between grades as well as serving a minimum of 2 years from their 1st Dan grading.
Gradings will only be made available to students who meet the criteria in full and then only when approved by their Instructor.
If a student fails their grading they can retake again free of charge once only.
Only the very dedicated and skillful student under the age of 18 will be allowed to grade to 2nd Dan.
Only the very dedicated and skillful student under the age of 21 will be allowed to grade to 3rd Dan.
